Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and OyaLinkup Limited (“OyaLinkup”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). They govern your access to and use of the OyaLinkup small-business platform, its websites, its opt-in business community, and Daily Cashbook. They do not govern separately branded AfroLocation services or Smart Ward pilots unless a notice for that service expressly says otherwise.

By creating an account or using Daily Cashbook, you agree to these Terms. If you use Daily Cashbook for a business or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to act for them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

OyaLinkup is a small-business platform operated by OYALINKUP LIMITED, a company incorporated in Nigeria under RC number 9488622. OyaLinkup is building the link-up layer that helps small businesses become more structured, visible, supported, connected to opportunities, and ready to grow.

Daily Cashbook is OyaLinkup's first live product and practical entry point. It helps business owners turn daily activity into structure and proof through records, reports, reminders, and business clarity.

Daily Cashbook is a record-keeping tool. OYALINKUP LIMITED does not receive payments from your customers, hold your business funds, lend money, or act as a bank, accountant, tax adviser, or financial adviser.

You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account. If you are 18 or older, you may accept these Terms for yourself. If you are under 18, you may use the service only through a guardian-supported account with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

The parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms and is responsible for subscription purchases and use of the account by the young business owner. We may request reasonable confirmation of age or guardian authority where needed to protect the user or comply with law. A phone or WhatsApp number does not by itself prove a user's age.

You are responsible for keeping your phone, login method, and app PIN secure and for activity carried out through your account.

• Do not share your account or PIN with another person.
• Keep your account and contact information current.
• Contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You retain ownership of the business records you enter into Daily Cashbook. You give us permission to store, process, synchronise, display, and generate reports from those records only as needed to provide and secure the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your records, reviewing reports before relying on or sharing them, and keeping exports or other backups appropriate for your business.

Daily Cashbook is designed to let you record some information while offline and synchronise it when an internet connection is available. Connectivity, device storage, browser settings, signing out, clearing browser data, or removing the app may affect records that have not yet synchronised.

If you enable notifications, Daily Cashbook may send reminders and summaries based on your settings and the records you enter. Delivery depends on your device, browser, network, and permissions.

You must not use Daily Cashbook to:

• support unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity;
• access, alter, or interfere with another user's data;
• bypass security controls or introduce malicious software;
• reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the service except where the law expressly permits it; or
• overload, disrupt, or misuse the service or its infrastructure.

Eligible new accounts receive a 14-day free trial beginning when the account is created. No subscription payment is charged during the trial.

Our currently available subscription plans are:

• Weekly: ₦250 per week
• Monthly: ₦750 per month
• Annual: ₦7,500 per year

Current prices and plan details are shown before payment. We may change future prices or plans with reasonable notice. A price change will not alter a period you have already paid for.

Paystack processes subscription payments. OyaLinkup does not receive or store your complete card number, PIN, CVV, or online banking credentials.

Every Daily Cashbook plan is a one-time payment for a fixed access period. Payments do not renew automatically. You choose when to buy more time, and any new time is added after your current access.

There is no recurring subscription to cancel. If you do not buy more time, write access ends after the period already paid for. You may still review existing eligible records in read-only mode. Retention and deletion are governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

We work to keep Daily Cashbook reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security work, connectivity failures, third-party services, or events beyond our control may affect the service.

We may improve, replace, limit, or discontinue features. Where a change materially affects paid use, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.

OyaLinkup owns or licenses the software, branding, interface, content, and other materials that make up Daily Cashbook. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for your own lawful business record keeping.

To the extent permitted by law, Daily Cashbook is provided “as is” and “as available”. Reports, reminders, totals, and summaries depend on the information you enter and should be checked before use.

Daily Cashbook does not provide accounting, tax, legal, lending, or investment advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OyaLinkup will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of Daily Cashbook.

Where the law allows a financial limit, OyaLinkup's total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of ₦10,000 or the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Nigerian consumer law.

You may close your account from the available profile settings. We may restrict, suspend, or close an account when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, fraud, security risk, legal request, non-payment, or harm to the service or another person.

OyaLinkup and Daily Cashbook may rely on or link to third-party services, including Paystack, Google sign-in, WhatsApp, hosting, file storage, mapping, email, and browser push notification providers. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Some location features may be powered by AfroLocation, a separate geospatial product operated by OYALINKUP LIMITED. Direct use of a separately branded AfroLocation service or a Smart Ward pilot is governed by the terms and privacy notice presented for that service.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, who receives it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Before starting court proceedings, you and OyaLinkup agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve a dispute by contacting the other party. Subject to applicable consumer rights, unresolved disputes are subject to the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

We may update these Terms as Daily Cashbook, our business, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised date and give reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
